In 2017, Emerging Leaders raised 1,500 books by companies hosting book drives in their workplaces. Last year we raised over 3,000! We are excited to surpass that amount this year. Join us on March 21 for our Book Drive Kickoff at Ninkasi Brewsing while they host us for Pints for a Cause (throughout the day, $1 per pint will go toward our book drive goal).

We will distribute materials that you can take back to your workplace to run a successful book drive and you'll meet our Book Drive Coordinator who will support you on your journey. Come enjoy a beverage and get ready for a creative volunteer opportunity!

These books go toward United Way of Lane County’s BookFest - a fun, free book distribution event at schools with the lowest reading proficiency rates in the County. Students K-2nd grades get to choose up to six books to take home to prevent summer learning loss.

Pints for a Cause open to everyone! Book Drive Kickoff open to Emerging Leader Donors (young professionals under 40 giving $120+/year). Young professionals interested in the program can attend to two events before committing. Learn more here.
