Learn United: Literacy Efforts in Springfield

Washburne Cafe

326 Main Street, Springfield

And Virtual, via Zoom

In Lane County, 60% of our students aren’t reading proficiently by third grade, which negatively impacts their ability to graduate on time. Thankfully, there’s something we can do about it.

Join us to learn about the challenges keeping kids from reading proficiently, some of the amazing programs supporting Springfield students, and how you can support literacy efforts for young readers.

We’ll hear about:

  • SMART Reading Program

  • Springfield Public Library programs

  • Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library

  • and BookFest!
