Join United Way of Lane County and Connected Lane County to provide books for kids in Lane County!
Volunteers are needed to help sort and prep books collected through community book drives for BookFest. BookFest is a series of distribution events that allow K-2 students in Lane County schools to choose six books to take home for the summer. Books are distributed in eight schools where many of the kids are at risk for not meeting the third grade reading benchmark.
No knowledge of grade level reading is required. Lunch is provided.
