Lane Equity Coalition: Keeping Our Neighbors Healthy: The Impacts of COVID-19 on Lane County's Immigrant Communities

COVID-19 has had a drastic impact on people’s health worldwide. Yet some communities experience disproportionate impacts, including immigrants and refugees here in Lane County.

Join us for this free online presentation and community discussion, hosted in partnership with Integration Network for Immigrants of Lane County, exploring:

  • how COVID-19 impacts the mental and physical well-being of immigrants in Lane County

  • current barriers for immigrants accessing basic needs, such as healthcare, education, housing, childcare, food, transportation, etc.

  • how organizations are working to addressing these barriers, and where there are still gaps

As the second event in this three-part series, this event builds off findings shared in the first event ,going beyond current and historical context for disparities, to explore innovative ways our community is working together to address specific barriers immigrants experience in various aspects of life. You can find a recap of the last event here, as well as the full event recording here.
