United Way works with partners from across the community - nonprofits, government, business, volunteers - to create opportunities for a better life for Lane County's most vulnerable residents.  Most importantly, we work to assure that people's basic needs are met through a 40-agency countywide network of services providing food, shelter, health care, and safety.

But that's not enough.  To advance the common good for all, our work must be more than short-term fixes.  That's why United Way strategically gathers partners and resources to improve overall community conditions in the areas of EDUCATION, INCOME and HEALTH - the building blocks for a good life.
