Volunteer of the Month
In a partnership with our local newspaper The Register-Guard, United Way of Lane County acknowledges Lane County volunteers through the Volunteer of the Month program.
A volunteer committee reviews monthly nominations and selects one person to be featured in the monthly newspaper feature entitled “Community Solutions: A Call to Action for Volunteers.” Click here for an example.
The program culminates with the annual Volunteer of the Year Awards which is held in April each year.
It’s easy to submit a Volunteer of the Month nomination either online or via mail or fax.
