Community Assessment Survey
The 2007 Community Assessment presents a snapshot of the challenges and needs faced by residents of Lane County, Oregon. As the only study of its kind, this comprehensive household survey provides research that helps define local human service needs and helps guide United Way volunteers on how to direct resources to make the greatest impact possible.
The Community Assessment Survey is one way that United Way of Lane County listens to the community. The results are used by policy makers, human service funders and service providers to refine their programs and priorities to provide help where it is most needed.
This is the sixth survey of its type - previous surveys were conducted in 2004, 2000, 1996, 1994 and 1992. Answers are completely confidential and householder information is not used for any purpose other than this survey.
